Sweet Cravings has been taking part in the lives of San Diegans since its creation in 2017. Being their favorite choice of cakes and desserts for weddings, birthday parties, company events, and a lot more, Sweet Cravings is proud to have become a staple on such important events.
But how did it all start? For as long as she remembers, Pastry Chef and Founder Pri Sarmento has been around cakes. Growing up in Brazil, she has vivid memories of her mother’s kitchen, where she would venture to precisely follow recipes to bake and experiment with different ingredients. Her friends soon realized how good her cakes were and started asking her to make cakes for their events. She then moved to San Diego and at her Pastry Class end-of-the-year party she brought one of her cakes. Her classmates were in love with it and she got her first order right then and there. From that order, someone else who tried the cake contacted her to order too. It snowballed from there and Sweet Cravings was born.
Now, you can order not only cakes but a whole line of desserts for your event. Chef Pri, has adapted the exotic flavors of the Brazilian Cakes and Sweets to the American palate and the result is a festival of heavenly flavored desserts.
